Details
When you're rolling smoother, you're rolling faster. And regardless of if you're on the cobbles of Northern France or the chip and seal of your hometown, you'll benefit immensely from the Roubaix Comp.
The super-light frame has been constructed from our FACT 10r carbon fiber. Its stiffness levels are also off the charts, and compared to the SL4 iteration of yesteryear, you'll experience a whole new, faster, and more efficient geometry. Through some engineering sorcery, however, we've managed to keep the same fit, feel, and position that we've all come to love from the SL4, and kept it consistent throughout the size-range due to our Rider-First Engineered construction.
Of course, you're probably thinking, "get on to the suspension thing up front." We call it Future Shock, and essentially, it's a piston in the head tube with 20mm of travel. We developed this technology in partnership with McLaren Applied Technologies, and the result of this are a host of drastic performance improvements, namely in the vertical compliance department. Without giving a physics lecture, we found that focusing on vertical compliance, instead of fork splay, meant that we could improve smoothness, speed, and comfort in one fell swoop. And of all the bikes that we've tested with our Rolling Efficiency Model, the new Roubaix outperforms anything on the market.
Lastly, we spec'd it with awesome components, like Ultegra 8000 11-speed mechanical shifting, 8020 hydraulic disc brakes, and ultra-tough Roval SLX 24 wheels that have been cased in our Turbo Pro 28mm tires.
- Featuring our Rider-First Engineered design that ensures every frame size has the same legendary responsiveness and smooth ride quality that you'd expect from a Roubaix. The FACT 10r frameset holds its own with our high-end carbon offerings, with the ideal blend of light overall weight and targeted stiffness, while the all-new Future Shock "suspension" system at the cockpit delivers a revolutionary degree of comfort and control.
- A Roubaix Disc fork is built from our FACT carbon fiber for supreme stiffness, strength, and reactivity, while a thru-axle design only stands to bolster all of the above.
- The Roval SLX 24 Disc wheelset features a sub-1600-gram weight, a 20-millimeter internal width, and an alloy construction that makes it a solid performer when the roads turn rough.

I am new to road cycling and wanted to make a great investment. When I got this bike it just wants to go! I've been on plenty of mountain bikes and the energy from pedaling just get absorbed by the bike. When I pedal, this bike just goes forward! In my first to road races the bike performed well. Only requiring front derailer cable adjustments after the initial stretch. The ride was smooth yet excitable. I need to work on my aerodynamics way before I worry about the next step in bike... Love this bike!
Pros
- SWAT kit
- Eats up miles
- Control at high speed
- Comfort
Cons
- Can find lighter bikes for the same money
- Not as aero as a true race bike

Got into the Roubaix comp from a Trek Madone looking for a little more comfort. After about a month riding I am very happy with the switch. Don't seem to climb as fast with the Roubaix, but am faster on the flats and much faster on the descents. The FS suspension, wider tires and disc brakes makes the bike very stable at higher speeds (>35mph). I also feel much fresher after longer rides and my wrists are not as sore. Handles uneven pavement great.

600+ miles to date. Bought this bike as an upgrade from my 4 year old aluminum frame/cf fork road bike. It's about 2 lbs lighter than my old bike. It's quicker and significantly more comfortable. Future shock in the head tube helps with hand fatigue and "flex" seat post and zert insert below the seat helps smooth out the ride on the posterior. Also, it has a little bit longer wheelbase than my old bike so it is not as jittery. I am very happy with this bike and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a little more speed and a lot more comfort.

This bike is about perfect for me, as I generally prefer longer, slower rides with hills. I am not interested in compact gearing or that hunkered-over position, so (1) I got a triple, and I can go up any hill without hating it or killing my knees, and (2) the geometry is such that I am more upright than hunkered over, which is comfortable and allows me to look around now and then. I can ride on gravel for miles without my hands going numb because the carbon absorbs the bumps and vibrations. I have about 7,000 miles on this bike. My only regret about it is that I can't use it for touring because you can't attach heavy-duty racks to the carbon frame.

I'm a newbie and this is my first bike so I don't have a lot to compare. I had neck/spinal surgery 2.5 years ago (ACDF) and my Dr. said "NO MORE RUNNING." I was immediately drawn to the claims of comfort with this model. I have had the bike for 6 weeks and love it. I am doing 25-30 miles every other day. My speed average is up to 18mph and I am experiencing no neck/back pain. Although I don't really have anything to compare it to, but it feels to me like it does absorb the ride. I can very much feel the carbon seat post flex and the bike seems to take bumps nicely. Both Squirrels I have run over did not fair well, but only felt like little bumps to me.

I purchased this bike from High Road about 2 months ago, and have put enough miles on it that I feel confident in recommending it. From the first time I test rode it, I knew it would be a good fit. I've been on several 3-4 hour rides since then, and this machine performs splendidly. It is comfortable, fast, and very responsive. I had been riding a Trek hybrid before this, and wanted a machine that would allow me to go farther and faster, and that is exactly what's happened. The saddle is very comfortable, as is the riding geometry. I'm high enough to avoid straining my back and allow me to see traffic, but I'm low enough that I feel I can aggressively tackle the pavement ahead. Fast, smooth, and sexy!

WOW...I've been looking to get a Roadie for sometime..Mt.Biking for 20years so as for what I say if your a hardcore Roadie comments might not apply. I didn't think I the first 10 miles of riding that I was going that much faster since every so often I will take my MT.Bike to the streets. That was until I settled in and let the bike do the work. After that I was totally hooked. This bike rides like its as smooth as my MT.Bike on ruff chip seal roads yet put the hammer down and it flat rips. I was alittle nervous about getting a full on race platform so I opted for what was advertised as the best..fast and plush ride. The bike is very responsive and turns much tighter..going fast than I expected..I really can't imagine most people spending more for a bike and expecting better overall feel and performance..sure you could get lighter wheels( if you were racing) but to just get on a bike and hammer the streets with the condition most cities are in for 2 or 3 hours this bike is truly inspiring. Just writing my first ride thoughts makes me what to get back on it. I never would have thought a Road bike could win me over..THIS WAS JUST TO BE A TRAINING THING FOR MT.BIKING...I'm hooked by speed, comfort, and just look at it...sexy
